Submission Policy

NOVA Science Fiction is not open to unsolicited submissions.

Submission Qualifications

Before submitting your story, please send a query letter first, with a list of previous story publications.

Unpublished? Simply list your previous training in creative writing OR

• Your participation in the Clarion writer's workshops.
• Your participation in the Clarion West writer's workshops.
• Your participation in the Writer's Digest fiction writing course.
• Your completion a college level creative writing class with a grade of "B" or better.
• You membership in the Points of Divergence Amateur Press Association.

Compensation

Stories must not be longer than 7,000 words and will be paid half a penny per word.

Submission Qualifications

Please complete the following before submitting your transcript.

• Your query letter
• Proof of your qualification
• A self addressed stamped envelope (SASE)
• Do not include your transcript until it is requested. This protects both you and NOVA Science Fiction!
